Charles S French Charitable Trust

… where the Charles S French Charitable Trust has made a difference.

Alzheimer's Society
The support of the Charles S French Charitable Trust has made a real difference in helping people affected by dementia. Thousands have accessed reliable and relevant information and advice through our National Dementia Helpline and online forum, Talking Point. We continue to increase our investment in new research studying the cause, care, cure and prevention of dementia.

British Liver Trust
British Liver Trust is so grateful to the Trustees of the Charles S French Charitable Trust for their kind donation towards our recent Love Your Liver Health event which was held as part of the London Borough of Barking and Dagenham's Alcohol Awareness week. In all 42 people used the online health screener, and 36 people received a free Fibroscan (a non-invasive liver scan). 13 were found to have liver damage and were referred to their GPs for further testing. This is a higher than average referral rate and one person was taken straight to A&E, because of a very serious liver condition that needed urgent treatment. Thank you again for supporting this life-changing work.

INUF- the Independent Newham Users Forum (Mental Health) would like to thank Charles S French for a grant which will go towards supporting mental health service users and survivors in Newham with the continuation of our Drop-in service. Many thanks from all the staff, volunteers and service users at INUF

Maytree Respite Centre

Our core programmes of activities were funded in part by a grant from the Charles S French Charitable Trust. Maytree supports some of the most vulnerable, isolated and marginalised people experiencing suicidal crisis.

On behalf of our core staff, team of volunteers and the many vulnerable people who turn to the Maytree Respite Centre, we thank you.
